Font-tastic
I love fonts. I think it has something to do with also loving written words – reading and writing. I think it also has something to do with my ability to get bored very quickly. No matter the reason. I just love fonts.
So, imagine my delight when I was pointed in the direction of a Periodic Table of Typeface! Wheeeee!
My only problem is that I can’t remember how I was pointed to it to give the usual hat tip, but I can tell you that the table itself came from Bēhance Network and it’s perfectly awesome.

I have a ton more fonts than this on my computer. Everyone does, right? Right? But the table does cover the most popular ones.
I’m considering using Al’s photo printer to print out a large copy of this so I can hang it in my office. It’s just so… so… me.

I watched an entire Nova program on PBS about Helvetica. It was one of the better ones I’ve seen recently.

That’s so cool. One of my favorite, albeit cheesy, things to do when I’m bored at work is to type the alphabet in all the fonts just to see what they look like cause they’re nifty.
