Swedes Marry Swedes

Sweet.  Cracker.  Sandwich.

Oh dear God(win).

On Fox & Friends, Brian Kilmeade and his cohorts were discussing a study that opines that married couples are less likely to suffer Alzheimer’s Disease than their single counterparts.

But Mr. Kilmeade doesn’t think the study is valid because the study was conducted in Finland and Sweden.  And they’re marriages are apparently “pure,” while those in America… well… just watch:

Hat tip to Salon, by way of Washington Monthly by way of Thomas Brock’s shared items in my Google Reader.

I think there are more people in this country who hold that view than we would like to believe. For example, Flora used to tell me she’d rather I marry a black guy than an Italian Catholic.

At least the woman here looked appropriately apppalled.

Yeah, I love the way the other tried to interrupt him.
You should’ve told Flora that Hawk’s ancestors had an “i” on the end of their surname, but dropped it when they got to this country from… oh, I don’t know… Palermo? LMAO
