OpenSecrets.org is an interesting little website. Want to know where politicians get their money? Want to know who gives how much to which politicians? Just check OpenSecrets.org. Want to know where the political loyalties of your employees, employers, co-workers, friends, and neighbors lie? Just check OpenSecrets.
For instance, OpenSecrets shows that from 2003 to 2006, William Garvey gave Congressman Phil English $1,750.00 in campaign contributions. Congressman English is, by far, Garvey’s favorite politician, as it appears the only other campaign to which he’s contributed is Arlen Spector’s, and that was a paltry (in comparison) $550.00. More recently, William Garvey contributed another $250.00 to Congressman English’s campaign, but that hasn’t shown up on OpenSecrets yet.
