Al and I went to Smuggler’s Wharf on the waterfront for dinner tonight and got a great surprise…they’ve gone smoke-free, even in the bar. Al had the scallops and I had the crab cakes. Both dinners were very good. We had a table near the fireplace and there was good music playing (I heard at least two Van Morrison songs) at a nice dinner volume.

Now we’re back at home relaxing on the love seat with the pooch snoring on the footstool and guess what came on The History Channel? Give up? Okay, I’ll tell you: A documentary about Champ.
