338PM: New Orleans has been destroyed. I’m concerned about Amy and Jim…They’re moving back. I wonder, if there’s going to be anything to go back to?

When did the Walk of Fame become some hokey-give-to-any-half-assed-actor?

Holy Crap ! Category 5 storm about to make landfall in about 5-6 hours.
It sounds rude, callous and maybe crass, but… At least it’s not landing here. Which reminds me of a fear; NC hasn’t had any hurricanes this year. I’m worried that our ‘turn’ is soon.
829AM: Best Buy orientation is today.
Stayed at the KVC until 840PM last night…Waiting for the NMCI technician to rollover LtCol Michaud’s machine. I waited for 3 1/2 hours…One representative of NMCI came by around 530 and said that the guy was next door and he’d send him over or get him to call, so that I knew he’s alive and on his way. The representative came back and gave me the contact numbers for the technician too. UGH. I called at 7PM and the guy said he’s almost finished and he’d be over within an hour. No call and no show. Around 830ish, LtCol Michaud called and told me I could leave, since no one had shown up or called. As I was packing up, the technician that turns the ‘black box’ on showed up and was asking about the computer technician. I told him I didn’t know where the technician and hadn’t heard from him. I informed the technician that I was going to leave. I left a note for the Computer Technician on LtCol Michaud’s door. As I was driving off-base, I received a telephone call from the Computer Technician saying that he was in Bldg 14, but couldn’t find the KVC or anyone with keys. I informed him that I had secured and that we would reschedule the roll-out.
557PM: Ok, so … Today sucked monkey balls. Anything that’s call Orientation should be labeled with a safety warning…It was SOOO boring! At least free food was involved.

Not a disaster for Iraq maybe, but since the US presence is directly related to the establishment of an Iraq government, it’s potentially very bad for the U.S…

401PM: Spirit and Opportunity are two of NASA’s greatest successes. The two rovers have been working magnificently for nearly two years when their original operational limit was 90 days…Amazing…
8AM: MB’s first day of school is today…I’m excited for her and all that kind of stuff, but I’m also worried. I think the structure will do well for her. I’m kind of worried about her being overly sensitive…Other kids are mean and she’s not really used to that.

422PM: What a slimy piece of crap Pat Robertson is…
