Election 2008: Classless Candidates and Sore Losers

Why are so many of the losing incumbents and losing candidates for election behaving so poorly? It’s an exercise in classlessness, from my point of view.

It’s been 4 days since Election Day. I haven’t updated the Elections Page, but I will. There’s just been a lot to process (politically and otherwise) for me.
Senator Barack Obama won by a pretty large margin (his 53% to McCain’s 46%). Check out President-Elect Obama’s Transition Office’s website for more information on his transition staff and [...]

The races I’ll be paying particular attention to are:

President of the [...]

Action Alert: Contact Your Elected Representatives About the Bush Administration’s $700,000,000,000 Wall Street Bail-Out Plan

Contact your elected representatives and urge them not to support the Bush Administration’s $700,000,000,000 bail-out of Wall Street on our tax-dime. The Bush Plan has no support for Main Street Americans or home-owners that face foreclosure. The Administration’s plan also specifically denies Americans any course of action for oversight or recourse against the government’s actions [...]

Action Alert: Contact your Senators to Ask Their Support for the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008

Thanks to bikelovejones for this hat-tip.
Beth, the writer at bikelovejones says we should contact our Senators and ask them to support the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008.
This legislation will do all kinds of good stuff to improve America’s energy situation, but specifically, it provides tax benefits for bicycle commuters.
Check out the [...]
