The Jacksonville Daily News website has a poll related to the Register of Deeds pay controversy. Go vote. It’s fun.
It appears that the Onslow County Board of Commissioners has no interest in discussing Becky Pollard’s pay during their December 15th meeting.

Even before Ms. Becky Pollard was sworn in as Onslow County’s Register of Deeds, her husband, former State Senator and former member of the NC Department of Transportation Board, Tommy Pollard was lobbying the Onslow County Board of Commissioners to give his wife a raise.

North Carolina’s early voting period begins Thursday (October 16th).
The Onslow County Board of Elections will have four sites maintained for the early voting period:
Jacksonville Commons Rec. Center
Swansboro Middle School Annex
Tar Landing Baptist Church
Verona Fire Station
These locations will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays and on Saturday (November 1st) from 8:00am to 1:00pm. [...]
