2008 Elections: Voting Early in Onslow County

North Carolina’s early voting period begins Thursday (October 16th).
The Onslow County Board of Elections will have four sites maintained for the early voting period:

Jacksonville Commons Rec. Center
Swansboro Middle School Annex
Tar Landing Baptist Church
Verona Fire Station

These locations will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays and on Saturday (November 1st) from 8:00am to 1:00pm. [...]

2008 Primary Analysis: Over 4,000 Votes Not Counted on Tuesday

No doubt, if you keep up with Onslow County news, you know that the Onslow County Board of Elections failed to count over 4,000 votes on Tuesday.
There was a glitch in the computers used to tally the ballots and, apparently, the vote totals from early voting weren’t originally counted in the results.
