While the City of Jacksonville has a ginormous budget (and the debt to go with it), the Onslow County Board of Commissioners chose to cut back and pull funds from the reserve account.

The Primary Election had some very interesting results for the Onslow County Board of Commissioners. It appears that Onslow County voters are unsatisfied with the current Board and want new representation.

According the New Bern Sun Journal, the U.S. Navy has narrowed the field of candidate counties to two in Northeastern NC and 3 in Virginia.
