Today’s edition of the Jacksonville Daily News has an editorial (unfortunately one that’s unsigned, so I don’t know to whom to send the “Thank you” note) that details the more 6-year saga of the Onslow County Jail project. Unfortunately, this editorial isn’t available online unless you have a subscription to the online-version of the [...]

The Jacksonville Daily News reports.
The commissioners were presented a budget plan that called for increasing the tax rate from 50.3 cents per [...]

I’d like to know from the candidates how they plan on dealing with ONWASA?
I’ve heard about all the growth speeches I want to hear. ONWASA is the pick pocket that no one seems to be able to control.
In case the candidates are unaware, my water charge is $11.23 and the 3/4es water usage charge is [...]

No doubt, if you keep up with Onslow County news, you know that the Onslow County Board of Elections failed to count over 4,000 votes on Tuesday.
There was a glitch in the computers used to tally the ballots and, apparently, the vote totals from early voting weren’t originally counted in the results.
Fortunately, none of the [...]

It’s Primary Day in NC!
I’m a proud member of the 8.4% of NC’s registered voters that participated in early voting this year, so I’ll not be standing in lines with the rest of Onslow’s voters today.

The following is a letter to the editor of the Jacksonville Daily News regarding Onslow County Commissioner (and failed candidate for Clerk of Superior Court) Delma Collins filing for re-election to the Onslow County Board. It has so far been unpublished and I have not been contacted by the editorial staff for confirmation.
I learned today [...]
