It’s been 4 days since Election Day. I haven’t updated the Elections Page, but I will. There’s just been a lot to process (politically and otherwise) for me.
Senator Barack Obama won by a pretty large margin (his 53% to McCain’s 46%). Check out President-Elect Obama’s Transition Office’s website for more information on his transition staff and [...]

I’m recovering from the end of a four-day weekend (AM and I took Thursday and Friday off, as well as the standard Saturday/Sunday weekend).
We got Dexter neutered and had his shots updated.
We voted. Early voting is really easy and takes very little time. There really is no excuse, folks. Please, go vote.
We set up AM’s bike so [...]

It’s Primary Day in NC!
I’m a proud member of the 8.4% of NC’s registered voters that participated in early voting this year, so I’ll not be standing in lines with the rest of Onslow’s voters today.
If you want information on the candidates, visit the Jacksonville Daily News‘ Election 2008 page. If you want information on [...]

Over the weekend, I previewed the local Onslow County races. Today, I’ll cover the four seats in the North Carolina General Assembly that impact Onslow County.
At least some portion of Onslow County is in 3 districts from the House of Representatives (4th, 14th, and 15th).
The 4th District Representative is Democrat Russell Tucker. Mr. Tucker will [...]
