The lessons learned are thus:

I need [...]

The Jacksonville Daily News: Wherein the City of Jacksonville Throws a Tantrum

Sunday, June 29th, 2008

The Jacksonville Daily News reports:
City officials say the base is luring away its best and brightest officers with salaries the city can’t compete with, but base officials said they cannot deny local law enforcement the right to apply for the jobs.

It seems to me that the City of Jacksonville and Jacksonville Police Department are upset [...]

Jacksonville City Manager Kristoff Bauer discusses the Jacksonville Transit system with Assistant City Manager Ron Massey.

Key points:

The new buses will allow [...]

An Open Letter to Jacksonville Drivers: Regarding Stop Signs

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

Dear Jacksonville Drivers,
The image to the left is a “Stop Sign” and it means “stop the forward movement of your vehicle.”
You may see this sign at intersections of streets or in parking lots. It does not matter where you see the “Stop Sign”, it still means “stop the forward movement of your vehicle.”
The “Stop Sign” [...]
