Councilman Randy Thomas who cast the lone dissenting vote, was confused about the purpose of this plan. Other City residents, such as Mr. Robert Hitch, are also confused.

According to Ibike.org’s statistical data library, 30% of trips in the Netherlands in 1998 were by bicycle. Indeed, even in modern France, the bicycle is such [...]

Dear Senator McCaskill,
Twice I’ve attempted to email you regarding House Concurrent Resolution 305 and twice you’ve told me that, while you “appreciate hearing” from me, “Unfortunately, your message was caught in Senate spam filters.” Your email recommends that I “…please submit your comments through the webform on my Senate website – http://mccaskill.senate.gov.” I did, Senator [...]

Open Letter to the City of Jacksonville RE: Jacksonville Transit Schedule

Posted on July 17, 2008 - Filed Under Activism, Jacksonville, NC, Open Letters | Leave a Comment

Dear City of Jacksonville:
I really do like that Jacksonville has a mass transit system, even though it’s quite limited. I can appreciate that the Jacksonville Transit has a limited number of buses because of a fear of using government monies for public-use facilities and equipment.  Often it is the residents who do not use, [...]

NC House 14: George Cleveland Declares Raleigh a Hotbed of Terrorist Activity

Posted on July 17, 2008 - Filed Under 2008 Elections, Activism | Leave a Comment

Laura Leslie has it.
Onslow Republican George Cleveland argued the state should comply with Real ID because Raleigh is a known location of terrorist cells.
