Car-Free: Work Week 3 in Review
Other than Wednesday’s run-in with road rage, it’s been a pretty uneventful week on the bicycle.
I rode to work and home Tuesday through Friday (Monday was Labor Day and a day off for many Americans) and totaled over 52 miles for the week.
The daily break down is below.
| 2-Sep-08 | Home to Office | 6.49 |
| 2-Sep-08 | Office to Home | 6.75 |
| 3-Sep-08 | Home to Office | 6.5 |
| 3-Sep-08 | Office to Home | 6.79 |
| 4-Sep-08 | Home to Office | 6.51 |
| 4-Sep-08 | Office to Home | 6.72 |
| 5-Sep-08 | Home to Office | 6.47 |
| 5-Sep-08 | Office to Home | 6.72 |
Today’s ride home was pretty interesting. In case you haven’t heard we in the Southeast are experiencing a “weather event” and it’s been causing some rain. Rain which I’ve had to ride through. With my PC on my back. Fortunately, I’m fairly paranoid enough that I had triple-wrapped garbage bags around it before stashing it in the backpack. It was a happy story, by the way, as the PC was dry when I got home.
It was really a mostly-boring week of cycling…And I’m ok with that.
