Open Letter: Senator McCaskill, I want to email you, but you think I’m spam…

Dear Senator McCaskill,
Twice I’ve attempted to email you regarding House Concurrent Resolution 305 and twice you’ve told me that, while you “appreciate hearing” from me, “Unfortunately, your message was caught in Senate spam filters.” Your email recommends that I “…please submit your comments through the webform on my Senate website – http://mccaskill.senate.gov.” I did, Senator McCaskill, and that is how my email was sent to spam to begin this vicious cycle. Exactly how are constituents and Americans supposed to contact you if the contact form sends everything to spam?
Speaking of your site, you (or, more likely a staff member) may want to contact the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Technology site and have them update the link to your site. It’s currently sending folks to a page that no longer exists.
I may not be able to vote for you, Senator McCaskill, but I’d like the opportunity to send you my thoughts, regardless of whether or not you’re inclined to listen.
Thomas Brock
