I’m gone for a few days and the place goes nuts?

Another Camp Lejeune Marine killed his wife. I’m not sure why these kids think they can get away with it…Especially when this genius brings the body closer to his home than hers…

New Yorker magazine tries to satirize the right-wing theory that Senator Barack Obama (Il’s Senator and Democratic nominee for President) will Africanize the White House. The only thing is that they forgot the funny and it instead looks like quite the offensive (and tasteless) propagation of the same theory.

Court records show that Senator John McCain (Az’s Senator and Republican nominee for President) got his marriage license to uber-heiress Cindy before his divorce was finalized. How’s that for family values?

The government has decided the value of an American life has lost nearly $1 million in value. It may seem silly, but when the government makes up rules, they balance the value of that life against potential costs.

President Bush revokes the Executive Order which bars the leasing of some off-shore areas for oil-drilling. It’s something that doesn’t matter, since Congress has legislative bans. It’s something that doesn’t matter, since it’ll take a decade before oil can be extracted and even longer before that oil becomes gasoline. It’s something that doesn’t matter because it won’t change the price of a gallon of gas today. But you wouldn’t know it if you heard him tell the story. I have more to say on that, but it’ll be it’s own post.

Sheesh. What happens if I ever take a vacation?
