Senate Committee’s Meeting on Transportation Bill Postponed

Thanks to Uncle Ted’s indictment, the originally-scheduled-for-today markup of House Concurrent Resolution 305 (Recognizing the importance of bicycling in transportation and recreation) has been postponed to an unknown date.
That didn’t stop me from emailing my Senators or the Senators of the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation about the bill.

Republican Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska was indicted Tuesday on charges that he lied about receiving gifts worth more than $250,000 from an Alaska-based energy company on whose behalf he intervened in Washington.
