Two things:
Dubya is so divorced from reality, it’s not out of the realm of possibility, and neither is an emergency declaration of martial law to keep power out of the hands of the more sane people in the country. I am not at all convinced he will just quietly fade into the history books should Senator Obama be elected. He’s psychotic, and there is nothing I would trust to be totally beyond him. His record on just about everything speaks for itself.
Please be careful. Watching too much Faux News Channel can rot your brain and lead to fatal overdose.

I’ve long voiced concerns about the transition of power in January 2009, Lou, and I’m still not convinced that it’ll shift easily or cleanly.
And I don’t watch Fox News that much, though I confess to checking in to see what’s shaking. Thanks for the concern, though.
