The Jacksonville Daily News: Letter to the Editor RE: Oil Supply

Posted on June 20, 2008

This is a letter to the editor of the Jacksonville Daily News that I sent today.

It’s also a test of the document upload and embed site, scribd. What do you think?

I’m not sure I like the scribd embed…I think that the text is too small to read, but when you zoom there’s too much scrolling…

    What do you think?

The grabby movy thing is pretty cool, like an embedded .pdf.

The small text/scoll around trade-off is acceptable. It’d be nice if there were a little more room, but I can live with it.

Scroll button on the mouse works fine, too.

My only real complaint is that when I try to grab the scroll bar (out of habit) to scroll down the image, the grabby movy thing (yes, that’s the technical term) grabs the paper and moves it in the opposite direction to the one I’m expecting.

That’d just take some getting used to.

…and now that I say that, the bar is working fine.
