Congratulations for Timmi Toler
She‘s the new city editor at the Jacksonville Daily News.
It’s a tough job that has increased responsibilities that apparently smacked her on the first day.
That’s good. You know, trial by fire and all that.
Here’s to hoping that the quality of the Jacksonville Daily News will increase with Timmi’s new position.
Don’t let us down, Ms. Toler.

The plan will never be to let the community down, trust me, but the more we hear from the community, the better. The newspaper belongs to the readers, without feedback, we can’t serve them like we need too.

OMG! I hope she does a better job editing the paper than she does her blog.
Is it appropriate for an Editor of a paper to post an entry describing that hellish metal detector as a bedroom toy?
I hope someone has fixed the LEETERS TO THE EDDITOR on the front page of the JDN site.
