Fat Challenge Post #4
The Fat:
This morning I weighed in at 196.5 lbs. Real weight loss or pre-weigh-in gas? You decide.
The Food:
- Breakfast:
- One serving of oatmeal, again sans the honey or butter.
- Snack (around 11am-ish):
- Two honey pretzel braids
- One Girl Scout Iced Lemon cookie
- Lunch:
- More leftover fajita-style pork-roast with sliced peppers and onions on pasta (about one cup’s worth)
- Snack (around 2pm-ish):
- Two honey pretzel braids
- One Girl Scout Iced Lemon cookie
- Snack (around 5pm-ish):
- Small bowl of honey mustard and onion pretzel pieces.
- Dinner:
- Feta cheese and spinach sausage (lightly fried in shallow oil and served on a hotdog bun), small potatoes with citrus gilled seasoning and butter, corn
- Drink:
- Water throughout the day (approximately 90 oz)
- Two glasses of tea
- One bottle of pomegranate Green Tea
The Fitness:
- Lunchtime walk for 42:21 minutes. I went 2.5 miles and felt pretty good.
- Evening walk for about 30 minutes. Unknown distance (I walked around Downtown Swansboro).
The Sleep:
My dark hour consisted of a a warm cup of Sleepy Time tea and finishing my copy of The Rambler. I love that magazine.
I went to bed at 10pm and woke up around 7ish. I’ve got to figure out a way to get myself out of bed when I’m supposed to get out…
One thing I’ve noticed about the dark hour is that it’s affected my sleep. I fall asleep much more quickly and I dream much more. I don’t really remember the dreams, but I know they’re there…
The Summary:
Today certainly felt better than yesterday, though I suppose the absence of a migraine will do that. This afternoon’s walk was great, and though my legs are a little sore, this evening’s walk was nice, too. It was a good day. Here’s hoping for more!
